The Keysight N7747C optical power meters provide the highest accuracy and sensitivity performance in compact front-panel sensor instruments. As a successor and direct replacement for the N7747A, it continues the optical performance level of the 81634B modules.
The 2-port N7747C and 4-port N7748C optical power meters deliver exceptional accuracy and sensitivity in compact front-panel sensor instruments. These instruments serve as successors and direct replacements for the N7747A and N7748A models while maintaining the optical performance standards of the 81634B modules.
With actively cooled InGaAs detectors and optimized high-performance analog electronics, these instruments provide the lowest level of noise and drift to deliver a very low and stable zero-signal level. The exceptional linearity and low polarization dependence ensure peak accuracy across the full power range.
Features an analog output with linear feedback for alignment applications, including a standard BNC connector with 0 to 2V output. This combination of highest sensitivity and analog voltage output creates a powerful solution for probe and fiber alignment operations and other optimization routines where detecting and tracking weak initial signal levels in real-time is critical.
The N7747C is equipped with two power sensor channels, while the N7748C provides four power sensor channels. Each port accepts one of the proven 81000xI connector interfaces to adapt to common fiber-optic connector standards, supporting a wide range of connector types.
Access the graphical user interface directly through your web browser via LAN or USB connection. No software installation required - simply connect the instrument via USB to a PC, and it appears as a new drive with a shortcut that opens the interface in any modern browser.
